Gong is building the future of revenue intelligence and we want people who are excited to build what comes next. As the first In House Counsel in EMEA, you'll join a small, exemplary legal team that interacts with virtually every team across the organization.

NOTE: This position is a hybrid based role (office 3 days a week and remote).

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate complex commercial SAAS agreements including data processing agreements with enterprise and strategic customers.
• Review and negotiate a wide range of vendor and service contracts, including professional service agreements, marketing and events agreements, and platform services agreements.
• Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes.
• Communicate legal concepts and risks in a way that is meaningful for Gong's business.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including executives and other departments.
• Support a culture that celebrates wins, encourages innovation, and values its people at every level.

Qualifications

• Legal degree.
• 4 6+ years of experience in commercial contracts and technology transactions, at a law firm and/or in house.
• Preference for candidates with proven experience as a Legal Counsel or similar role in house in a SaaS company.
• Negotiation and problem solving abilities, attention to detail and accuracy in work, responsiveness.
• Professionalism and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• Ability to multi task and stay organised in a fast paced environment.
