Due to business growth, we are looking to engage with Legal Counsel on a permanent basis with a focus on Digital, IT and Privacy law. Your new roleAs Legal Counsel, you will play a key part in supporting the digital, data and privacy agenda across the UK and wider global networks. This is a strategically important position, providing expert legal advice across a broad spectrum of commercial and digital matters while helping ensure the digital solutions remain compliant, ethical and future ready.You will act as the legal point of contact for the global Data, Digital and Privacy network, ensuring information flows effectively, and that guidance is aligned across the organisation. Your day to day work will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements, managing disputes within your portfolio, monitoring legal developments across the UK and EU, and leading legal support on cross business projects. Ultimately, you will help shape the legal frameworks that underpin the digital transformation.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive in England & Wales, bringing strong experience in digital, IT and privacy law. Ideally, you will have gained this within life sciences, technology, or another highly regulated environment.You will be a technically strong commercial lawyer, confident in managing complex issues independently and delivering clear, pragmatic advice. Solid experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts is essential, alongside an up to date understanding of UK and EU regulatory developments.Success in this role also relies on your ability to communicate clearly and collaboratively across diverse teams, translating complex legal matters into practical, accessible guidance.
