Overview

Join a fast-growing software business as their first Legal Counsel reporting into a supportive, experienced and down-to-earth Head of Legal. It's a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal growth stage, taking on a broad scope of work and supporting the business and key stakeholders on major projects.

The role

This is a varied role, focused on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, as well as advising on other matters such as IP, data, ESG, and corporate. You will be supported by a brilliant Head of Legal, and work closely with key stakeholders to help drive business growth. This role would suit a private practice lawyer making their first step in-house, or an existing Legal Counsel looking to join a growing, dynamic business. The opportunity offers an attractive package, direct mentorship from an experienced Head of Legal, and a fully remote setup (with quarterly meet ups in their head office).

About you

• UK-qualified lawyer with 1-2 years PQE
• Must be comfortable drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Have a desire to push outside of your comfort zone and develop your career
