Your function

Our client is a European group known for its active involvement in the transformation of urban and industrial landscapes. With activities spanning infrastructure engineering, sustainable investments, and multitechnical services, the organisation is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to act as a legal partner for its expanding operations.

• Advise on corporate law and group governance in a cross-border context
• Provide legal support for complex infrastructure and redevelopment projects, including PPP and regulated public markets
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of legal instruments in areas such as commercial law, IT, data protection, insurance and employment
• Collaborate directly with operational and strategic teams across departments
• Shape and enforce internal legal risk procedures, including contract management frameworks
• Facilitate internal collaboration between legal teams across divisions and locations
• Represent the legal department in intercompany or external forums, taskforces and legal think tanks.

Your profile

• Master's degree in Law (Belgium), with at least 8 years of experience
• Deep knowledge of corporate law and proven track record in supporting complex projects
• Affinity with regulated sectors and multidisciplinary business environments
• Excellent negotiation skills and capable of simplifying legal complexities
• Pragmatic and solution-driven approach to risk management
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence internal stakeholders
• Able to balance legal precision with operational realities
• Full professional proficiency in French, Dutch and English.
