Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver strategic legal advice on a wide range of matters impacting retail banking and wealth operations.

• Support major transactions, regulatory initiatives, and business projects.

• Translate complex legal issues into clear, commercial guidance for stakeholders.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to manage legal risks and costs effectively.

• Drive continuous improvement in legal processes, documentation, and service delivery.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified solicitor with experience in a top-tier UK law firm or in-house legal team.

• Strong knowledge of banking law, financial services regulation, and commercial legal practice.

• Proven ability to work on high-value, complex transactions and projects.

• Skilled in building strong relationships across legal and business teams.

• Up-to-date understanding of the legal landscape affecting retail financial products and services.
