About the Opportunity

Conekt Legal is delighted to partner with a leading FMCG business in Dublin that is experiencing significant growth across Ireland and the wider EU market. As the business expands its product portfolio, distribution channels and international footprint, they are now seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join their high-performing legal team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced, consumer-driven environment. You will work closely with the Head of Legal and business leaders across commercial, supply chain, brand, marketing, operations and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, procurement and service contracts.

• Support commercial teams on strategic initiatives, pricing agreements, and route-to-market arrangements.

• Advise on marketing campaigns, promotional activities, advertising standards and consumer protection regulations.
• Partner with brand and innovation teams on product launches, packaging reviews and labelling compliance.

• Provide pragmatic guidance on regulatory frameworks relevant to the FMCG sector (food/beverage regulations, product safety, ESG, sustainability, competition law etc.).
• Support compliance programmes, internal policies and risk management processes.

• Build strong relationships across multi-functional teams, providing clear and commercially aligned legal advice.
• Deliver training to stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.

About You

• Qualified solicitor in Ireland (or another EU/common law jurisdiction with the ability to work in Ireland).
• Approximately 3-6 years' PQE, ideally with experience gained in FMCG, retail, manufacturing, consumer goods, food & beverage, or a similarly fast-paced sector.
• Solid grounding in commercial contracts; familiarity with marketing, consumer, regulatory or supply chain matters is a strong advantage.
• Able to balance legal risk with commercial pragmatism and communicate confidently with non-legal teams.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable managing a varied workload in a dynamic environment.
