Job Description

Job Title: Legal Assistant (Property) (261119)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Contract: Temporary (18 months), full time (37.5 hours per week), hybrid working. This is an office based role, so you would work all 5 days in our Newcastle upon Tyne office.

Salary: £26,300 per annum and Health cash plan saving you and your children over £1,140 a year, covering dental, opticians, prescriptions, and more.

This role gives you direct exposure to a property and development legal function, building practical knowledge and experience you'll use day to day.

What you'll do
  • Provide day-to-day admin support to keep development activity moving
  • Maintain accurate property records, plans and mapping across systems
  • Prepare and organise information for acquisitions, disposals and plot sales
  • Issue clear instructions to solicitors for site set up and sales
  • Respond to queries quickly with accurate records and clear information
You have
  • Strong organisation skills and manage tasks well in busy teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and check work is right first time
  • Experience keeping records accurate, organised and up to date
  • Clear communication skills with internal teams and external partners
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and handling property documentation
