This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement that may require some travel into our Coventry head office. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.
About the Opportunity:We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented individual to support our Legal team across a broad range of legal, compliance, and administrative activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to legal operations, regulatory compliance, contract management, and stakeholder engagement within a dynamic higher education environment.
A key focus of the role will be assisting with the management of the University's legal contract database, ensuring records are accurately maintained and monitored throughout their lifecycle. Working closely with colleagues across the University, you will help ensure that legal and regulatory obligations are met, maintain accurate records, prepare documentation, and provide general administrative support to the Legal team. The role will suit someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and an interest in legal, compliance, and regulatory matters.
About You:We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and is keen to grow their legal and administrative experience in a dynamic in house legal team. - A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to learn
- Previous experience or knowledge of AML, PEP screening, sanctions compliance, FCA-regulated environments, or KYC processes would be advantageous, although we also welcome applications from candidates keen to develop their expertise in these areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in legal operations, compliance, governance, or regulatory affairs while contributing to a purpose-driven organisation.
- Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment
- Understanding of legal terminology or legal administrative processes
- Experience managing shared inboxes, calendars, or document management systems
- Interest in compliance, contracts, or data protection
