JOB TITLE: LECTURER (TEACHER/TUTOR) - HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE

LOCATION: KINGS LYNN

HOURS: 30 PER WEEK

MATERNITY COVER UNTIL AUGUST 2027

Due to maternity Lecturer to join us on a temporary basis. The Health and Social Care Department offers a range of courses; GCSE 14-16 Programme, level 1-3 Health and Social Care courses, including T-level in Health and Adult Counselling courses at our Wisbech Campus.

We are looking for a dedicated professional to complement our strong team, an individual with the vales that align with our department charter 'collaboration, expectation, communication!' Whether you have a teaching background already or are a Health or Social Care professional in industry, looking for your next challenge- we would love to hear from you.

This is an exciting and challenging role working with learners looking to forge a career in health or social care. We have close links with NHS and healthcare providers across the region, including hospitals, hospices and care providers enabling us to design and implement a curriculum that truly meets the needs of our local communities.

Don't have a teaching qualification? Don't worry, we will support you; we are committed to remaining at the forefront of education developments and are planning to include apprenticeships during the next Academic year, with much more to come in the future. We will achieve this through our teacher development programme where you'll be supported to obtain these qualifications at your own pace and under the expert guidance of our Learning practice.

Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 12 or above (£37,454 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
