The Role

Are you an experienced Law/Legal professional looking to move into Further Education, or an established Lecturer looking for your next opportunity?

Aspire People are working in partnership with Further Education providers across South Wales to recruit experienced Lecturers in Law.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your industry knowledge and expertise to support the next generation of learners, helping students develop practical skills, achieve qualifications and progress into employment or further study.

Working within a Further Education setting, you will:

• Deliver engaging Law teaching across relevant programmes
• Plan and deliver lessons covering key legal principles and concepts
• Prepare learners for examinations and assessments
• Use relevant real-world examples and current legal developments to enhance learning
• Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback
• Support learners with their academic and career progression
• Monitor attendance, progress and achievement
• Support learners with SEN/ALN where required
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement

What We're Looking For

• Degree or Level 3+ qualification in Law or a relevant discipline
• Strong knowledge of relevant legal principles and legislation
• Experience teaching or supporting Law learners is desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to engage learners and make complex topics accessible
• Teaching qualification desirable
• FE experience is desirable but not essential
• Experience supporting learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial
