School of Social Sciences and Humanities

Full time, open ended

Role Overview

We have recently established Loughborough Law in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and wish to recruit up to two full time open ended posts at Lecturer level, commencing in September 2026. Posts will be based on the Loughborough campus in the East Midlands, and may also involve teaching at the Loughborough London campus. The department seeks specialists bringing critical perspectives to sports law, intellectual property law, law of evidence and legal methods and skills, especially mooting.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver modules and engage in research led teaching.
  • Lead own modules and contribute to the growth of Loughborough Law.
  • Conduct critical, interdisciplinary, socio legal research.
  • Engage collegially with faculty and students.
Qualifications / About You
  • Developing a body of critical, interdisciplinary, socio legal research.
  • Ability to develop and lead modules and engage in research led teaching.
  • Keen to contribute collegially to the growth of Loughborough Law.
