A Further Education provider in Loughborough is looking for an experienced Health & Social Care Lecturer to join their team on a temporary basis.

The Role

• Deliver Health & Social Care qualifications to FE learners
• Plan and deliver engaging, vocationally relevant lessons
• Support learners to achieve positive outcomes
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate learner records
• Work closely with curriculum colleagues to ensure high-quality delivery

About You

• Experience teaching Health & Social Care in an FE or training environment is desirable
• Practical vocational experience within the Health & Social Care sector is essential, such as:
  • Care Home settings
  • Residential Care
  • Nursing or Healthcare environments
  • Community Care services
• Strong communication and learner engagement skills
• Ability to inspire and support learners from a range of backgrounds
• A valid DBS is required
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) would be advantageous
