We have an exciting opportunity for a Carpentry/Maintenance Lecturer to join our college community.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Carpentry/Maintenance Lecturer to join our team and inspire the next generation of trades professionals. You will deliver high-quality teaching and learning to 16-19-year-old students across a range of Carpentry/Maintenance and MultiSkills courses.


Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and assess learners on Carpentry/Maintenance programmes, ensuring engaging and effective delivery.

  • Provide underpinning knowledge, guidance, and support to help students develop their skills, achieve qualifications, and progress into employment or apprenticeships.

  • Support learners' wider development, including attendance and engagement in English, maths, and tutorial sessions.

  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress and contribute to quality assurance processes.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and employers to link full-time students to apprenticeship opportunities.
