Overview

Solihull College & University Centre is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer to teach A Level Law, delivering Year 1 and Year 2 on the linear AQA specification, within a supportive and collaborative teaching environment.

This part time role offers a permanent contract and the opportunity to join a forward thinking Further Education team dedicated to student success.

Contract & Hours

30 hours per week

Actual salary up to £38,022.16 per annum (depending on qualification status)

Responsibilities

Deliver A Level Law throughout Year 1 and Year 2 on the linear AQA specification, support and engage with students, plan lessons, assess work, provide progress feedback, and contribute to a cohesive curriculum within the Law department.

Qualifications

You must have a degree in Law or a related subject and hold, or be willing to work towards, a recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching A Level Law is essential, and it would also be advantageous to have experience delivering Criminology to an A level standard. Excellent communication and organisational skills, flexibility, and a commitment to inclusive, student centred teaching are required.
