Lect Assist Prof in Philosophy and Cognitive Science, UCD

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Philosophy and Cognitive Science within UCD School of Philosophy.

The School of Philosophy at University College Dublin seeks to appoint a full-time, fixed-term Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Philosophy and Cognitive Science. The initial duration of the appointment will be 36 months, commencing 1st January 2027.

As part of their application, applicants should submit Module Outlines for:

• 1.a 12-week Introduction to Cognitive Science undergraduate module, and
• 2.a 12-week Empirical Methods in the Mind Sciences module suitable for MA/MSc students with no prior scientific or mathematical experience.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Below The Bar (7944) Salary Scale: €43,025-€73,444 Per Annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
