Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Leaving Care Personal Advisor in Enfield.

We're looking for a committed and empathetic Leaving Care Personal Advisor to join our dedicated team, working alongside Social Workers to guide young people aged 18-24 who have previously been Looked After by the Local Authority.

Pay rate - £18.07 PAYE / £22.39 Umbrella per hour

Main Responsibilities

As a Leaving Care Personal Advisor you will be responsible for:

• Hold a caseload of up to 25 young people
• Provide tailored, one-to-one support for care leavers transitioning into adulthood and independent living
• Work collaboratively with services including education, training, employment, housing, and health to ensure holistic support
• Carry out office-based work, community visits, and attend meetings both locally and out-of-borough as needed
• Empower young adults to develop and work towards their care and health plans, fostering confidence, resilience, and independence
• Ensure all support is delivered in line with local procedures, policies, and relevant legislation (e.g. the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000)

Requirements:

• Significant experience of working with vulnerable young people with a range of complex problems
• Knowledge of the legislative framework around Looked After Children and Care Leavers
• Demonstrable success in partnership working for the benefit of young people
