A specialist SEN school is seeking full-time Learning Support Assistants to join their dedicated team supporting pupils with autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). This is a full-time, term-time role with an immediate start.

The Role

As a General Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers and therapists to provide consistent, compassionate support across the school day. You'll help create a safe, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support (max. 8 pupils per class)

• Assist with personal care, sensory integration, and communication needs

• Implement structured routines and behaviour support strategies

• Foster independence, engagement, and emotional wellbeing

• Work collaboratively with teachers, LSAs, and external professionals

What We're Looking For

• Experience supporting children with autism and/or PMLD (school or care settings)

• A calm, patient, and proactive approach

• Confidence with personal care and physical support needs

• A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a difference
