Learning Support Assistant Primary Schools Greater Manchester

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for caring and reliable Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Greater Manchester.

We have regular opportunities in Bolton and Bury, as well as schools across the wider Greater Manchester area. Positions can vary from day-to-day work through to longer-term assignments, giving you the opportunity to find something that suits your experience and availability.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to help pupils engage with their learning and feel confident in the classroom.

Role may involve

• Supporting pupils during lessons and classroom activities
• Working with individuals or small groups
• Helping pupils develop their confidence and independence
• Reinforcing learning and instructions provided by the teacher
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Helping pupils access learning activities
• Building positive relationships with children and school staff
• Contributing to a calm and supportive classroom environment

We are looking for people who are:

• Patient, approachable and dependable
• Comfortable working with children
• Good communicators
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to work in different school environments
• Experienced in education or keen to develop their experience
