Learning Support Assistant Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant for a Secondary school in Sutton. The school is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and who has a can-do attitude. The role is open to candidates with previous SEN experience and for those who are looking to start their career in education. Although not essential the school would prefer candidates with a degree in a STEM subject. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. CONTRACT DETAILS Location - Sutton, London Position - Learning Support Assistant Type of work - Learning Support Assistant Contract or position start date - 02/09/2026 Duration / Likely Duration - Until the end of the academic year Contract or position end date (if applicable) - On going Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary Full time/part time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP95 per day Hours - 8:00am - 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with children and young people. A degree. Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
