A specialist SEN school in Sunderland is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with PMLD, sensory needs and complex communication difficulties.

Location: Sunderland
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm

The Role

• Supporting pupils during sensory and engagement-based learning
• Assisting with communication and interaction
• Supporting mobility and physical needs
• Working alongside teachers and therapists

Experience Requirements

Desirable:

• Care or support background
• Experience with complex needs

Not essential - training provided.

Daily Routine

• 8:30am start
• Structured sensory sessions
• 4:30pm finish

Dress Code

• Practical and comfortable
• Suitable for physical support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
