Job Description

And are you eager to ensure effective knowledge transfer and effective learning experiences for the audience? Then this is the right job for you!

In Learning and Knowledge Management (L&KM), we are looking for a Learning Solution Designer. This is a temporary position, to cover a maternity leave.

Context

As a Learning Solution Designer, you will translate business requirements and/or design of L&KM architect into impactful Learning & Knowledge Management solutions. Develop educational learning materials in cooperation with L&KM Business Partner, L&KM Architect, content curators, and expert leads in line with the global quality standards and guidelines.

The L&KM Solution Designer reports to the Academy Lead or Group Lead. You will align mainly with own team and subject matter experts (SMEs) in the business. You will work on more advanced L&KM solutions (e.g. ILT) for a broad scope of topics. The target group of the L&KM solution consists of a variety of roles. You will work on two to three solutions simultaneously, and use own knowledge in own specialized field, built on an understanding of the theoretical concepts and principles and their context.

Requirements

Master degree with solid experience or equivalent working and thinking level.

Broad knowledge of business processes.

Didactical background with knowledge and experience of design and development of learning activities.

Responsibilities


Analysis

Interact with L&KM Business Partner, L&KM Architect, subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand the learning solutions design requirements for the L&KM solutions. Analyse business requirements, determine capability needs and implement plans to address these needs.

Design

Create detailed designs for L&KM solutions using innovative learning solution design methodologies and technologies. Collaborate with experts, business partners, architects and learning solutions designers of other academies for best practice and knowledge transfer. This in accordance with enabling processes as agreed in L&KM process model. Focus is on Design and Development (D).

Develop

Develop program materials and interventions to support that learning solution delivery resonates with the audience and ensures effective knowledge transfer skill development and effective learning experience.

Be an expert in adult learning and use these insights to maximize the effectivity and impact of learning solutions learning solution designs.

Comply to and safeguard that learning solutions design is in line with the global quality standards and guidelines including architectural regulations and standards.

Design and develop impact measurement and reporting plan.

Hand over new developed solutions to LSS for delivery.

Learning & Knowledge Management

Apply innovative learning solutions, design methodologies and technologies.

Keep up with internal and external developments and ensure development, transfer and retention of all knowledge and information supportive to the realization of the L&KM objectives.

Use/develop (external) reference/ network and know-how that is state of the art in own area of expertise.

Collaborate with experts, business partners, architects and learning solutions designers of other academies for best practice knowledge transfer.

Select, integrate, manage and/or maintain learning platforms, for example learning management systems, knowledge management systems, and performance management systems.

Integrate knowledge management with the process of creating learning solutions and support best practice on knowledge capturing, availability and sharing.

Enhance high quality knowledge assets and appropriate governance, standards and metrics.

Stakeholder management

Build and maintain a network of stakeholders, update and consult it regularly, manage expectations of stakeholders continuously.

Evaluation

Design and develop evaluation materials (e.g., creating data collection tools, for example questionnaires, surveys, and structured interviews).
