Work Pattern

32.5 hours per annum, Term Time + 1 training day (38.2 weeks)

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (30 minute lunch)

Salary information: Scale 4, £23,108 - £24,118 per annum (dependent upon experience)

Start date: 4th September 2026

Overview

Grange Park School is an exciting and wonderful place to work, with a committed staff team and exceptionally well-behaved children, who arrive at school every day eager to learn.

The successful candidate will be prepared to be able to support children in class as well as deliver intervention programmes for individual and groups of children across the school.

Responsibilities
  • Fostering a positive and supportive environment for pupils in school.
  • Assisting in the implementation of pastoral care programmes.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to pupils.
  • Monitoring and addressing any behavioural or social issues.
  • Collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure the overall well-being of pupils.
  • Organising and participating in activities that promote a positive school culture.
  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including those related to inclusion.

We can offer you calming and well-resourced working spaces for you to be able to support any individuals or groups when required.
