  • This role will be hybrid (70% in office across 3 sites or in the local community, 30% remote) following completion of required training
Overview

Citizens Advice Bury & Bolton (CABB) is a leading provider of legal advice and information, supporting thousands of clients every year. We are a busy, client focused and dynamic service with a track record of delivering high quality advice face to face, over the phone and digitally.

Our communities are facing unprecedented challenges with continued rising costs. The rising cost-of-living directly impacts individuals and families, with more people than ever in negative budgets, debt and housing crises.

Responsibilities

Key elements and tasks within this role will include:

  • Lead onboarding new starters, developing training plans alongside line managers
  • Support line managers and teams with identified areas of development required
  • Use key insights (advice trends, client feedback, etc.) to create and deliver focused training across a range of delivery methods to ensure accessibility
  • Support the organisation to comply with accreditation requirements (AQS, SQM, QAA and others), ensuring all CPD requirements are met and mandatory training is completed
  • Work with local infrastructure organisations to create and deliver focused training for local VCSE organisations
  • Support new project mobilisation
Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt, prioritise deadlines and competing tasks in a fast paced environment
  • A genuine passion for supporting others to develop
  • Experience in training and developing staff and/or volunteers, or experience as an adviser
