Contract: 6 month FTC. Monday - Friday.

Job Summary: The Learning and Development Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and compliance of all administrative activities within the Learning and Development function. This includes ensuring that training initiatives and programmes are effectively planned, organised, and delivered in line with business requirements. The role also ensures that all delivery logistics are managed efficiently and that the Learning Management System is accurately maintained and kept up to date.
In this role, you will:- Coordinate and support the delivery of Learning and Development (L&D) programmes and schemes, working collaboratively with the wider L&D team to ensure all training is delivered effectively and in line with business requirements.
- This includes arranging venues, hotel bookings, meeting rooms, calendar invitations, joining instructions, training materials, and rescheduling where required.
- Monitor and manage training requests across all L&D categories, including Technical, Soft Skills, Management, and Leadership development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring all reporting requirements are met within agreed timelines.
- Support the timely delivery of digital learning content through e-learning platforms such as Kalidus and Safety Hub.
- Coordinate bookings for demo areas across Briggs sites as required by the business.
- Ensure all Learning Agreements are stored accurately and in line with compliance requirements.
- Distribute post-course evaluation surveys on a weekly basis for all completed training sessions.
- Promote L&D initiatives via internal communication channels (e.g. Yammer), supporting engagement and course uptake.
- Collaborate with the wider L&D team to understand current initiatives, share best practice, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide support with IFS system integration activities, as required.
- Manage training certification processes, including saving, issuing certificates, updating LMS records, and providing evidence of competence to attendees.
- Support the Learning & Development Technical Business Partner with Apprentice Engineer programmes, including coordination of 1:1s, tracking attendance, and managing training plans.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for ad-hoc L&D projects as required.
- Demonstrates significant experience working within a fast-paced administrative environment, managing multiple priorities and projects to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organised with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, ensuring consistent delivery to a high standard.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately follow established processes and instructions to complete administrative tasks efficiently.
- Highly proficient in IT systems, with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
