About the roleYou will join a close-knit L&D team which operates within the wider HR department. As a team we support learning and development across our organisation covering a range of professions such as finance, IT, customer service, in addition to our main group of scientific staff.
We are passionate about supporting staff development and this role will play a key part in training across the organisation which is delivered in various formats ranging from in person to e-learning through our Learning Management System 'Sonic Learn'.

An indication of the scope of your role (more detail is available in the job description)
Responsibilities- Provide input into shaping the direction of learning and development.
- Maintain course booking & administration, inclusive of evaluating the effectiveness of our training courses.
- Maintain and update IT systems in relation to L&D activities
- To assist with the administration our LMS 'Sonic Learn', including answering staff queries, producing reports, collating feedback, and liaising with the platform providers.
- To assist with the delivery and collection of L&D course materials and equipment to and from training venues and assist trainers with setting up equipment when required
- Undertake surveys and audits relating to L&D.
