Lead/Senior Analytical Scientist Chromatography

Job Description:
I am working with a very exciting client, who's Analytical team are looking for a Lead Chromatography Specialist to join their expanding group and take the reigns as a Senior member who can lead from the front with the design of experiments, data generation and interpretation, pre-validation, and implementation of analytical methods using UPLC/HPLC systems to support their development projects alongside training and mentoring of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Method Development: Craft cutting-edge chromatographic methods using QbD principles, driving pharmaceutical innovation through strategic analytical solutions
- Comprehensive Analytical Expertise: Execute complex chromatographic techniques with proficiency in method development, pre-validation, and transfer, adhering to ICH guidelines
- Strategic Cross-Functional Collaborator: Interface seamlessly with R&D, regulatory, and process development teams to elevate analytical capabilities
- Continuous Improvement Catalyst: Identify emerging analytical technologies and develop best practices to expand laboratory scientific capabilities
- Technical Communication Virtuoso: Analyze complex data and deliver compelling technical presentations that translate sophisticated scientific insights
- Regulatory Compliance Champion: Author SOPs, support method transfers, and maintain highest standards of quality management and scientific integrity
Qualifications:
- Advanced Academic Foundation: MSc in Analytical Chemistry with 4+ years HPLC/UPLC, method development experience in R&D environments
- Software Proficiency: Expert in Empower3 and Design of Experiments (DoE) software, with advanced analytical data management capabilities
- Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding of GMP/GLP, ICH Guidelines, and Quality-by-Design (QbD) principles in pharmaceutical analytical contexts
- Technical Mastery: Deep analytical instrumentation knowledge, with advanced skills in statistical analysis, experimental design, and mass spectrometry techniques
- Problem-Solving Excellence: Exceptional technical problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills with rigorous scientific methodology
- Communication Prowess: Bilingual (English/French) scientific communicator, adept at writing technical documents and presenting complex analytical insights
- International Perspective: Proven experience working in multicultural teams, with transnational educational or professional background preferred
- Analytical Mindset: Scientifically curious, methodical, and persistent professional committed to continuous learning and technological advancement
