You will be the domain expert for Banking and Insurance (FSI) within Databricks UK&I, working with industry leads. In this role, you will set the vision, build executive relationships, and lead cross functional teams across Databricks UK&I. You must be passionate about Data + AI transforming the FSI industry, understand the unique challenges of global FSI companies, and articulate vision to all audiences.

As a Trusted Technology Leader for our customers in the Banking and Insurance vertical, you provide technology guidance and orchestrate the interaction between customers and Databricks resources to drive new opportunities, demand generation, digital transformation, and map industry/business scenarios to Databricks solutions. You ensure Databricks is perceived as a technology leader and our end to end solutions deliver added value compared to the competition by being a trusted advisor to key decision makers at the CxO level.

Impact you will have

• Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the cloud ecosystem and third party applications.
• Partner with Strategic or Global Account executives and lead internal teams to provide analysis and architect solutions; act as the strategic link between Databricks and the customer.
• Lead technology thought leadership and sales activities to drive the customer's digital transformation vision and roadmap.
• Build relationships and solutions with the partner ecosystem, including SIs, ISVs, and data collaboration partners.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop FSI content, collateral and demand generation plans.
• Own the relationship with C level technology and innovation executives at the customer and drive the customer's technology roadmap through partnership with business leaders.

What we look for

• Minimum 10 years experience as an executive in the FSI vertical or deep vendor experience with the industry.
• Intimate knowledge of the FSI technology landscape.
• Comfortable across the entire FSI value chain, including banking (customer acquisition, account opening, loan origination, risk management, etc.) and insurance (underwriting, claims, policy lifecycle, compliance, digital transformation).
• Experience driving change at a large FSI company and influencing decision making processes.
• Prior experience acting as the technology leader for the customer and being a "go to" person with CxO level stakeholders.
• Ability to innovate technical solutions to accelerate the customer's digital vision and achieve account growth.
• Strong knowledge of key banking and insurance regulations, especially European regulations.
