Lead Software Engineer (PHP)

Lead Developer £80,000 - £100,000 Hybrid (Central London) Laravel 10 Vue.js 3 Tailwind CSS

We are seeking a lead engineer, preferably with a start-up background, to join an innovative, data-driven analytics company. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the technical direction and growth of their platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and grow the development team, especially in early-stage or start-up environments.
2. Oversee the development and implementation of web applications using Laravel 10 and Vue.js 3.
3. Collaborate with clients across various sectors on website projects.
4. Ensure high-quality cross-browser coding and adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience with PHP MVC frameworks, particularly Laravel 10.
• Over 5 years of proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, especially Vue.js 3 and Vuex.
• Experience with SCRUM, Agile methodologies, Git deployment, API development, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS (Tailwind CSS), and familiarity with the Vite build tool.
• Experience working with Amazon S3, PHP 8, Nginx, Redis (Cache), and MySQL 8.
