Job Description Lead Software Engineer - (React)

We're looking for an experienced React Team Lead to join a growing engineering function and take ownership of front-end delivery for modern, React-based portal applications. This is a genuine player-coach role : you'll be writing code, shaping technical direction, and leading a small team of engineers in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Staying hands on, building and delivering React applications, features, and solutions
• Leading a front end / full stack team working on React based platforms
• Running sprint planning, stand ups, and code reviews
• Mentoring junior developers and setting clear technical expectations
• Collaborating closely with Product Owners and QA to turn requirements into reliable, user friendly features
• Driving good Agile practice, including Jira, CI / CD pipelines, and test automation
• Contributing to architecture decisions and longer term technical direction
• Supporting partner and third party developers where required

Essential Skills

• Strong commercial experience building web applications with React
• Exposure to Angular is
