What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the Back End development of mission-critical products using Java and Spring Boot
• Architecting robust, scalable systems with a strong focus on cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• Mentoring and pairing with engineers to elevate team performance and code quality
• Delivering high-priority projects with a hands-on approach

What You Bring

• Proven experience in Back End development with Java (11+) & Spring Boot
• Strong architectural skills and familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
• A collaborative mindset with experience in pair programming and agile delivery
• Ability to mentor and inspire engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence
• Excellent communication and adaptability in a dynamic environment

Hybrid role based in Newcastle or London, ideally in-office 1 day a week. Salary up to £85,000.
