Job Description
A Lead Retail Consultant is required to deliver a transformative programme aimed at innovating and modernising the retail and manufacturing sectors, working with businesses of all sizes, legislators, and key stakeholders to drive change and collaboration.
You will own the strategy for taking cutting-edge industry transformation to market, engaging with key stakeholders to ensure widespread adoption, and overseeing the execution of programmes that will shape the future of commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a strategic vision to advance industry standards and achieve key organisational goals.
- Work collaboratively across teams to align efforts with the broader market strategy and drive the success of programmes.
- Manage and mentor a team, ensuring performance goals are met and the team operates effectively.
- Report on programme success, tracking key metrics and providing insights to governance groups.
- Develop go-to-market strategies to drive adoption and measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
- Identify new opportunities to enhance the value proposition for stakeholders and recommend additional services to support growth.
- Act as a thought leader and advocate, raising awareness and building relationships across sectors.
- Foster collaboration with external partners, driving successful industry engagement through clear business cases and measurable outcomes.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience leading complex programmes and managing cross-functional teams to deliver at scale.
- Strong background in FMCG, ideally with branded manufacturing experience.
- Knowledgeable about industry trends and the impact of digital and technology innovations on consumer needs.
- A collaborative leader with a track record of delivering strategic plans and building long-term relationships with industry stakeholders.
