The OpportunityTullow is offering an exciting opportunity within the Field Developments team. We are looking for a dynamic Lead Reservoir Engineer to join us on a Permanent (hybrid) basis, located at our office in Chiswick, London.
Job PurposeIdentify and progress Reservoir Engineering work scopes within the Ghana Field Developments team and provide expertise and analysis to mature reserve and production adding opportunities
Key Roles and Responsibilities- Identify and mature production adding opportunities for the Tullow Ghana deepwater producing assets with thorough Reservoir Engineering analysis
- Provide input to plans and work scopes to ensure they sufficiently addressing the key Reservoir Engineering issues in work that the Field Developments Team supports
- Carry out infill well planning from target identification through to economic justifications and provide support of the well operations.
- Perform in depth analysis of reservoir performance, update reservoir models and history matches.
- Provide Reservoir Engineering input and analysis to Ghana BU projects including subsea tie-back developments, facilities expansion and debottlenecking projects.
- Provide long term forecasting in support of business processes including Reserves and Business Planning
Degree in Petroleum Engineering
Masters level or greater preferred
Skills- Strong reservoir simulation skills and experience with TNavigator and Eclipse packages
- Expertise in analytical Reservoir Engineering techniques such as material balance, decline curve analysis and identifying production trends
- Expertise in Pressure Transient Analysis and Rate Transient Analysis
- Experience with offshore deepwater developments preferred
- Good current knowledge of available technologies across the industry to access appropriate solutions
