Lead Power BI Developer

Role: Lead Power BI Developer Location: Birmingham (2 Days In-Office Per Week) Duration: 12 Months Fixed-Term Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Network IT is seeking an exceptional Lead Power BI Developer, an expert in Power BI and its related tools, to take ownership of our client's Power Reporting Platform during a significant data warehouse migration project.

This role requires someone to leverage their hands-on Power BI experience to advise stakeholders on data ingestion and utilization, and to use insights from various sources to support key decision-making.

Regular in-office presence in Birmingham is essential, with the expectation of being in the office 2 days a week.

Experience

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Power BI tools to create dashboards, write DAX expressions, and implement security measures. Proven ability to design, develop, and implement advanced BI solutions tailored to stakeholder requirements is essential. Experience developing custom BI products using SQL, R, and Python is highly desirable.

Knowledge of data integration, data warehousing, data modeling, and data presentation concepts is also important.

Additional Skills

• Extensive report writing experience using Tableau or SAP BOBJ.
• A keen eye for user experience.
• Experience covering the entire system development lifecycle.
• Mentoring junior BI resources.
