Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Lead Network Architect to define and drive the architecture of network services within a cloud-native, service-oriented internal platform designed to accelerate software development and delivery. The platform supports hybrid cloud environments (private and select public clouds) and targets DevOps and development teams building enterprise-grade solutions.

The architect will play a central role in the design and evolution of scalable, secure, and resilient network components such as DNS, IPAM, virtual networking, and client access solutions integrated with IAM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures for network services: DNS, DHCP, IPAM, virtual networking (VXLAN, VRF), and client access (VPN).

  • Lead the transformation from Infoblox DNS to a BIND-based infrastructure.

  • Architect IAM-integrated secure access solutions (eg, VPN-based).

  • Define API-driven architectures for dynamic provisioning of virtual networking.

  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and performance standards.

  • Provide architectural guidance throughout design, development, and delivery.

  • Monitor the technical health of network layers and recommend improvements.

  • Track trends in enterprise networking to shape long-term strategic direction.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network architecture, or platform engineering.

  • Deep understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, particularly with Infoblox and BIND.

  • Strong expertise in virtual networking: VXLAN, VLAN, VRF.

  • Solid knowledge of protocols such as BGP, MPLS, and routing principles.

  • Experience designing secure access with VPN, IAM, RBAC, OAuth, OIDC.

  • Understanding of REST API design and usage.

  • Familiarity with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.

  • Technology background in Cisco and Juniper network stacks.

  • Experience with Kubernetes networking (namespaces, services, ingress, service mesh).

  • Programming skills in Python, ideally using FastAPI and Pydantic.
