Senior Mechanical Engineer: Offshore Wind - Balance of Plant

Our client is currently seeking talented Engineer to join their team and support them with a new Offshore Wind project. THE COMPANY:

Role:

This is a Senior / Lead / Principal role for Mechanical Engineer with experience in Offshore Wind Balance of Plant/ Equipment / Utilities - any of Cranes, pumps, generators, water systems, Lifting, HVAC, T&I, Topside design.

Essential to have senior mechanical engineering experience on BoP / equipment for offshore structures - ideally Offshore Substations. Would suit Senior / Principal / Lead with Background in the design of offshore equipment for either oil & gas, offshore wind.

Offshore engineering, construction, installation, commissioning and testing, operation, maintenance.

  • EPCI: any of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Operation and Maintenance for BoP for Offshore Platforms
  • BoP/ Offshore Equipment / Utilities for Offshore Wind or O&G substations/ platforms
  • any of: EPCI, Design, O&M, RAMS, Fabrication, Manufacturing, T&I or Commissioning
  • Writing / reviewing / improving Technical and Engineering Requirements
  • Review of bidders' technical offers
  • Technical / Design development clarifications

Experience:

  • BoP/ Offshore Equipment / Utilities for Offshore Wind or O&G substations/ platforms
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical, Civil, Structural or similar.
  • EPCI: any of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance for Offshore Platforms

Advantage:

  • Experience working with developer / EPCI contractor on Offshore structures
  • HVDC Offshore platforms

Location: UK or EU. Hybrid working (office & wfh).

Essential to have BoP / Equipment / O&M experience for Offshore Structures & Engineering degree. Experience can be either on Offshore Wind or O&G substations/ platforms.
