Lead Mechanical Engineer

Your new companyMy client are a leading, international FM provider with a significant footprint in the UK. They are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a prestigious account in central London. Their client are a large, multinational organisation.Your new roleAs Lead Mechanical Engineer you will oversee a team of engineers carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across a large commercial site in central London. Key duties will include:

• Operating at Mechanical AP level
• Mechanical technical support to AP level
• Reactive and planned maintenance and repairs as well as PPM schedules
• Leading a team of engineers
• Liaising with client contacts and 3rd party vendors

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role you will require relevant experience and qualifications in mechanical engineering. This includes:

• Level 3 Mechanical Engineering as a minimum
• Strong technical knowledge across mechanical engineering maintenance in commercial properties in the UK
• Experience in leading and supervising engineers
• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical AP duties and skillset to operate at that level
• Experience communicating with clients and contractors
