Own the creative vision behind the products people choose every day

If you're at a point in your career where you want your work to be more visible, more strategic, and more impactful, this is the right move. As Lead Industrial Designer at Loop, you'll take full ownership of a product category's design direction. You'll help shape early product ideas, evolve our signature design language, and mentor a world-class team. This role blends high-level creative leadership with hands-on execution. Ideal for someone who wants to leave their mark without leaving the craft behind.

As Lead Industrial Designer, you'll lead category-level product design and visual innovation

You'll define how products in your category look, feel, and function, balancing strategy with creative instinct. You'll create the frameworks that help teams move faster and smarter, ensuring consistency without limiting innovation. Working alongside product, engineering, and CMF teams, you'll take early-stage ideas and turn them into design directions that are clear, scalable, and premium. You'll be a mentor to others and a reliable partner for cross-functional teams who count on your taste and clarity to move fast without cutting corners.

Your other responsibilities:

• Drive product form development through early concepting and iterative prototyping
• Collaborate closely with product leads to shape user needs into physical design
• Align manufacturing constraints with design quality through close work with engineering
• Lead feedback sessions and support team growth through structured coaching
• Maintain a high-quality bar across your category and influence the broader design org

How you'll succeed as a Lead Industrial Designer

You care about how things are made. You sweat the small stuff without losing the big picture. You make decisions others can build on whether it's a sketch, a CAD file, or a rationale in a roadmap deck. You've built products before, and it shows in how you communicate, guide, and design. You're ready to set the direction and help others reach it.

These key competences will set you up for success:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in product or industrial design
• Strong portfolio with consumer-facing physical products
• Advanced 3D modeling and prototyping skills
• Proven track record of mentoring designers and influencing product decisions
• Fluent in turning strategy into form, and form into scalable systems
