Lead IAM Architect, Technical Architect - IGA, Zero Trust, Governance, AWS, Remote

Proven Lead IAM Architect with experience of operating at TDA level, with expert Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) required. You will lead the design and delivery of the organisation's identity as the core security control plane aligned with Zero Trust principles. Provide cross-programme governance, secure-by-design solutions, and stakeholder leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define target-state IAM architecture: verification, governance, authentication, privileged & citizen identities, federation, NHI/MIM
• Lead end-to-end solution design, ensuring standards compliance and security
• Embed secure-by-design and risk-based controls
• Develop identity life cycle, migration, and federation strategies
• Deliver phased IAM roadmap and stakeholder engagement

Deliverables:

• Architecture blueprint & assessment
• Governance & life cycle models
• Authentication & privileged access designs
• Federation & migration plans
• Roadmap with milestones
• Experience & Skills:
• Extensive enterprise IAM (IGA, AM, PAM, CIAM, federation, NHI/MIM)
• Zero Trust & risk-led security design
• Large-scale IAM delivery & migration
• Knowledge of Entra ID, AWS Cognito, IAM tooling
• Stakeholder leadership

Desirable:

• UK Government identity services experience
• Public sector/federated research background
