Lead HSE Advisor

MCS Group is delighted to partner with a leading organisation in the energy sector to recruit a Health & Safety Lead. This is a pivotal role that will drive the implementation of the company's safety strategy across multiple sites, championing compliance, leadership, and continuous improvement in health and safety performance.

This role can be done from Belfast or Dublin locations!

As the Health & Safety Lead, you'll work closely with senior management and functional teams to deliver impactful safety action plans and ensure best-in-class health and safety systems. You will;

• Lead the delivery of safety initiatives, including health and safety action plans.

• Conduct audits across company and customer sites, report on findings, and drive corrective/preventive actions.

• Carry out and review risk assessments (including COSHH/Chemical Agents) and improve related processes.

• Support and lead the HSE function in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, ensuring strong HSE outcomes.

• Deliver behavioural safety programmes and ensure health and safety training requirements are met and recorded.

• Develop and maintain robust HSE documentation including manuals, procedures, and safety checklists.

• Provide process safety guidance to ensure legal compliance and alignment with internal safety standards
