The site operates at a fast pace, with a high level of daily footfall, so the role calls for someone confident, proactive, and able to maintain a professional presence while supporting the wider security operation.Information: Position: Lead Front of House Security Officer Location: Manchester (M1) Pay Rate: £15.00 to £16.00 per hour (Depending on experience)Hours: 60 hours per weekShifts: Monday to Friday - 07:00 to 19:00 Job Requirements:SIA Licence requiredSecurity Supervisory or Team Leader experience is requiredMust be flexible and be able to work; days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needsMust have good command of English languageGood levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all timesFlexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areasFlexible in the approach to daily duties

  • Hospitals, retail, long periods of standing, patrolling, reception duties, access control, and lock upsFirst Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonusMust have five years of checkable work historyMust be able to travel in and around London areas, including Horsham, Potters Bar and Crawley.Job Responsibilities Lead the team ensuring all officers are following site procedures in line with the customers' requirements.

Attend all required meetings with the customer and your line management in support of the company's aim of consistent quality service delivery.

Identify any training needs for your staff and feedback to your line management.

Maintain confidentiality and establish and maintain a good reputation with the customer.

Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users.Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiativeBe calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional mannerPhysically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shiftConfident in writing incident and shift reportsTo always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service and ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.Have the IT skills and the ability to understand and use varied Access Control and CCTV systems and platforms / integrated systems (Lots of sites use different Systems)Have the ability to write emails and reply to emails in the correct manner and speak, very important in Corporate Industry.Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels.Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process,

  • Escalate and Disseminate information in a timely manner to the correct personnel in the event or during an emergency or Incident on site.The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedures.
