Technical Expert

• Own and evolve the front-end architecture of the MyVanderlande customer portal-a responsive web application integrating microfrontends and data from digital services, ERP systems, and CMS platforms.
• Ensure top-tier web engineering practices, focused on performance, usability, and scalability.

Technical Competence Leader

• Define and steer the technical front-end direction across multiple teams and product lines, leading a group of five professionals.
• Act as the subject matter expert for front-end architecture, maintainability, and strategy.
• Mentor front-end engineers and foster technical growth throughout the organization.
• Lead the Front-End Guild by aligning development standards, promoting reusability, and maintaining consistency.
• Collaborate closely with architects, designers, product owners, and engineering leads to shape cohesive and scalable solutions.
• Advocate for a great user experience, modern front-end tooling, and sustainable design systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a responsive web application optimized for different resolutions and browsers.
• Build new features that provide customers with actionable insights via various digital channels.
• Contribute to the full development lifecycle, from prototyping and validation to deployment and iteration.
• Participate in continuous integration initiatives and help improve development workflows.
• Translate designs and wireframes from UX teams into high-quality, interactive user interfaces.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Ensure software quality through rigorous code reviews and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions and business goals.
• Stay current on emerging front-end technologies and industry best practices.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience as a Lead Front-End Engineer within Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, capable of aligning technical vision across teams and conveying ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in managing change, introducing new technologies or tools, or contributing to New Product Introductions (NPIs).
• Advanced hands-on experience with Angular 15+, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx/Redux, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and web performance optimization.
• Cloud platform experience (Azure preferred).
• Solid foundation in declarative, reactive, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiar with cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and secure front-end development (e.g., OAuth2).
• Proficiency with developer tools such as Git (Bitbucket), WSL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in UX design/development and working with design systems.
• A strong background in mentoring and developing the skills of engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Contentful or other CMS platforms.
• Experience using Cypress or Playwright for automated testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps test automation tooling.
• Understanding of Java-based back-end development.
• Ability to translate front-end requirements into back-end solutions and vice versa.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
