What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the technical architecture, design, and delivery of both the Unity product (for kids and families) and a web-based version (for educators and schools)

  • Collaborating with a platform team to solve shared technical challenges and align infrastructure
  • Acting as the go-to technical authority on scalable, cross-platform architecture

  • Leading on technical delivery, including sprint planning, team handovers, and milestone tracking

  • Contributing hands-on during discovery or when solving technical blockers
  • Helping hire and onboard additional development talent as the team grows

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Developer, or Senior Engineer with deep expertise in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable web architecture and lead cross-platform projects

  • Comfortable with API design, optimisation for performance, and cross-device compatibility
  • Strong track record of delivering in fast-paced, iterative, consumer-facing product environments
  • Excellent communicator who thrives in cross-functional, multi-time zone teams
  • Passion for mentorship, technical excellence, and process improvement
  • Background in educational technology, games, or other creative product environments is a plus
  • Ideally based in Copenhagen or another EU location in a similar time zone
