Lead Designer Structural Offshore Energy structural design offshore wind & oil and gas 3D modelling & steel design Rotterdam up to €7.000 gross per month Are you passionate about designing complex offshore structures and ready to take a leading role in multidisciplinary engineering projects? As Lead Designer Structural , you will develop concept, basic and detailed designs for offshore substructures and topsides, as well as temporary structures used during load-out, transport, lifting and installation. You combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills, guiding designers and acting as a valued technical advisor to clients. As Lead Designer Structural, you contribute directly to the successful engineering of offshore wind and oil and gas projects. You enjoy working on both permanent structures and temporary installation equipment, ensuring high-quality output throughout the project lifecycle. Developing concept, basic and detailed designs for steel components of jackets, tripods, monopiles, transition pieces, topsides and related modules Designing temporary structures including sea fastenings, grillages, lifting frames, guiding tools and upending systems Leading and coaching a team of structural designers, monitoring progress and planning Advising internal project teams and clients on technical solutions and design optimisations Preparing and reviewing 3D models, 2D drawings and structural documentation Acting as technical point of contact for clients, engineering partners and installation contractors Collaborating with project management and other engineering disciplines to ensure consistent, high-quality project execution It provides end-to-end engineering and consultancy services covering concept development, detailed design, fabrication support, installation engineering and decommissioning.
