We are recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Consultant Practitioner Psychologist within the Rehabilitation Division. We seek an individual with a background in adult mental health and inpatient services, demonstrating leadership and supervision experience. The successful candidate will be the Lead Psychologist across our High Dependency Units, Open Rehabilitation Units, and Community Rehabilitation Team. You will be supported by a team of Qualified and Assistant Psychologists, responsible for leadership, supervision, and development of the Psychology team and pathways.
You will also be an integral part of the Division's Senior Leadership Team, supporting leadership and development across the Division. The role involves clinical work at Braeburn House with individuals experiencing severe and complex mental health issues, requiring creative therapeutic approaches. Braeburn House is a 28-bed male High Dependency Unit, where you will work alongside another Qualified Psychologist, a full-time Assistant Psychologist, and the MDT.

Detailed job description and main responsibilitiesThe role involves leadership across inpatient and community services, clinical work at Braeburn House, supporting staff with trauma-informed care principles, formulation-driven approaches, training, and reflective practice. You will contribute to developing referral and assessment processes and support the division's pathways for timely discharge and reduced reliance on inpatient units.
This is a unique opportunity for a Practitioner Psychologist to grow in clinical, leadership, and service development roles within a friendly, team-oriented environment.

Additional details- Band: Insert band details if available
- Working hours: Saturday (midnight to midnight), weekdays after 8pm, before 6am, and all time on Sundays and Public Holidays.
