Lead Animator

Kavaleer Productions are currently hiring for a Lead Animator to join their team.

This is a fixed term contract and ONLY open to applicants living in the Republic of Ireland.

Applicants under consideration will be required to complete an animation test before final selection.

The function of the Animation Team is to work with the Animation Director and Assistant Animation Director to ensure the highest level possible of animation throughout the production under the direction of the Offshore Director.

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in 2D animation Production or,
• Currently working as a Lead Animator
• Demonstrated experience as a Lead Animator in episodic TV series
• Ability to work within deadlines
• Ability to work within a fast-paced series production schedule
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong and clear communication skills
• Strong attention to detail is critical

Kavaleer Productions was founded in 2001 and over the past 20 years have forged a position as one of Ireland's leading animation studios, having produced over a dozen TV shows for broadcasters such as BBC, Sky, Netflix and Nickelodeon. The studio launched three new shows in 2021 and is currently preparing production for "Adam Loves Adventure!" starring Virtual Hug hero, Adam King.
