We are looking for a Lead AI Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of production grade AI systems. You will lead a team of AI engineers and full-stack developers while staying hands on with coding and system design at least 50% of the time.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical architecture, mentoring your team, and ensuring our AI systems deliver maximum impact for users worldwide.

• Build and maintain production ready AI systems integrating LLMs and custom models.
• Design robust components for prompt management, post processing, and RAG pipelines.
• Ensure system reliability and observability via testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and clean architecture.
• Collaborate closely with product teams and end users to align technical solutions with product vision.
• Lead and mentor a team, foster a collaborative culture, and drive high quality delivery.
• Continuously optimize the value delivered to end users, both individually and as a team.

Essential:

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in startups or with a strong academic background.
• Hands on experience in Python and backend development.
• Experience building or maintaining AI / LLM based systems.
• Familiarity with LLM SDKs and libraries (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google GenAI, LiteLLM, Langchain).
• Proven ability to design production grade AI components with reliability and observability.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills: able to mentor, inspire and motivate teams.
• Fluent in French and English.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of search systems or RAG pipelines.
• Experience in Machine Learning / Deep Learning (NLP or Computer Vision).
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex).
• Interest or background in Intellectual Property.
