Lead / Principal Electrical Engineer for Energy Transition / Security Projects

Rate - £60 - £62p/h - outside IR35.

Location - Leatherhead

Duration - 12 months

Working pattern - 4 days in office - 1 remote.

I am seeking a lead/principal engineer for energy transition and energy security projects to develop the electrical power system designs required to support the process design. Demonstratable experience of designing large industrial power systems is a prerequisite for the role.

The experience should ideally include:

• Power system designs for H2 / NH3 / LNG / Refining projects
• Sizing and selection of high voltage equipment, Large Frequency converters, AC/ DC UPS systems, etc.
• Development of philosophies and specifications
• Input to estimating
• Ability to complete power system studies/calculations using ETAP / review of studies by others
