our role and responsibilities
Technical Production & Support
Provide assistance with all technical aspects of Performing Arts productions, Theatre classes, assessed performances, and other school events.
Liaise with the Head of Theatre for all school productions and exam performances.
Perform ad hoc multi-media tasks, including filming, uploading documents to Google Drive, and designing posters.
Provide occasional technical support for Campus Performing Arts events.
Resource & Facility Management
Maintain all equipment and technical resources, ensuring staff and students can utilize them effectively.
Manage day-to-day department resources, including costumes, books, sets, and technical materials.
Ensure teachers have the necessary equipment for each class.
Guarantee all Health & Safety requirements are met for the daily use of performance spaces.
Who we are looking for
You will thrive in this role if you possess:
Significant theatre industry experience in all aspects of live performance and events. Previous experience in an international school is an asset.
Essential skills in lighting, sound, and projection. Deep knowledge of audio-visual equipment maintenance and refurbishment.
Ability to work fluently in both English and French.
Capacity to adapt quickly to new IT developments and a willingness to learn new technical skills.
Your personal attributes and mindset:
High personal standards and the ability to act with tact and diplomacy with all community members.
Strong planning and organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
A commitment to working in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends during production weeks.
