CSP Vaud is a private social action institution with a public benefit purpose. Its services are professional and offered to anyone living in the canton of Vaud, without distinction of any kind. It provides over fifteen thousand services per year, organizes consultations and group sessions, and collaborates with numerous partners for the support of people in difficulty. It is solicited by other professionals in the social network, both public and private. With about a hundred volunteers, CSP Vaud also manages a collection and sale service for second-hand items consisting of six locations.CSP Vaud is seeking, as a replacement for maternity leave, a Lawyer at % for its Youth Social Service - Jet Service. The mission of the Youth Social Service - Jet Service is to prevent the marginalization of young people aged between 16 and 25 and any person in difficulty by providing social and legal assistance to facilitate access to or maintenance in education (high school, apprenticeship, university, HES). Jet Service offers individual social support to young people in difficulty and socio-legal assistance in order to defend their interests. It expands its activities in various regions.Main responsibilities:- Ensure socio-legal support in tandem (social worker and lawyer) and legal follow-up of cases (research, correspondence, appeals) in Lausanne and other locations in the region.- Respond to legal questions from the professional network.- Provide legal expertise on the evolution of profiles and systems.- Profile: Bachelor and Master's degree in law; prior professional experience preferred, particularly in family law, immigration law, labor law, enforcement law, as well as a marked interest in insurance law.- Strong interest in the youth public and their issues as well as in social policy.- Ease in writing and public speaking.- Listening skills and ability to manage cases independently, including facing urgent situations.- Flexibility and ease in a continually evolving work environment.- Interest and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and in a management mode for one to two shifts per week in the regions, at the end of the day - early evening.- Ability to travel in accordance with work values: Lausanne and movement in various regions of the canton.Contract: fixed-term contract (CDD) of 6 months.
