Laser Operator (Mazak & Trumpf)
Salary: £13.75 - £15.25 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday (various shifts avaialblebetween 6am - 6pm)
Contract: 12-week temp to perm
About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established UK manufacturer specialising in sheet metal fabrication and stainless steel product design. They supply high-quality products to a wide range of industries and pride themselves on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement, supported by a skilled workforce and modern manufacturing facilities.
The Role:
We are seeking experienced Laser Operators to join a modern manufacturing facility producing high-quality stainless steel components. You will be working with advanced Mazak and Trumpf laser cutting machines, supporting the production of precision-engineered products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC laser machines (Mazak/Trumpf)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ensure high levels of accuracy and quality
- Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Work to production schedules and deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous laser operating experience (Mazak or Trumpf preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience within a sheet metal or fabrication environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
